Nicolás Alejandro Tagliafico is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left back for Eredivisie club Ajax.
Leicester City have discussed Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico as they assess replacements for Chelsea-bound Ben Chilwell.
The 27-year-old Argentine has a number of offers and would prefer to join a Champions League side but recognises Leicester's status as a Premier League contender.
Tagliafico, capped 25 times for his country, arrived at Ajax in 2018 from Independiente.
He has since emerged as one of Europe's most sought-after left backs with his Ajax contract set to expire in 2022.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the Argentine.
Leicester also want a new centre-back with Schalke defender Ozan Kabak among their targets.
The 20-year-old Turkey international could potentially team up with Caglar Soyuncu with Leicester wary that Jonny Evans could also leave this summer amid interest from Premier League rivals.
